BEEFY CHOW MEIN CASSEROLE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Ludwig Estate in Temple Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pounds ground round
  • 2 small white onions chopped
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/4 cup minute rice
  • 1 small can chow mein noodles

Directions
  1. Brown beef, onions and celery in skillet then drain well.
  2. Stir in Worcestershire, soy sauce, soups and rice.
  3. Pour into lightly greased casserole dish and sprinkle with noodles.
  4. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
