How to make it

  • Preheat the oven at 200 deg C .
  • Grease and line a Swiss roll tin .
  • Beat egg whites with salt and set aside .
  • Beat the sugar and margarine until creamy .
  • Add the yolks and essence .
  • Fold in the dry ing along with the cocoa syrup and juice .
  • Fold in the egg whites .
  • Bake for 15 mins until the top springs back when touch .
  • Roll it when it's still hot unwrapping the paper along .
  • Leave it cool for 15 mins .
  • ...............
  • Mix the cream cheese , icing sugar and syrup .
  • Carefully unroll the cake and spread some cheese mixture inside .
  • Roll back the cake and frost outside with the remaining mixture .
  • Sprinkle the rasps and chill until served .
