Chocolate Roll

- 2 L egg white shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list

- 50 g caster sugar shopping list
- 75 g olive margarine shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla essence shopping list
- 2 L egg yolks shopping list
- ...................... shopping list
- 100 g self raising flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp baking powder and baking soda shopping list
- 1 tbsp mango juice essence mixed in 110 ml water shopping list
- 2 tbsp Hershey's chocolate syrup shopping list
- ................................. shopping list
- 100 g light cream cheese shopping list
- icing sugar shopping list
- Hershey's chocolate syrup to taste shopping list
- ............................. shopping list
- chocolate Rasps/Shavings shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven at 200 deg C .
- Grease and line a Swiss roll tin .
- Beat egg whites with salt and set aside .
- Beat the sugar and margarine until creamy .
- Add the yolks and essence .
- Fold in the dry ing along with the cocoa syrup and juice .
- Fold in the egg whites .
- Bake for 15 mins until the top springs back when touch .
- Roll it when it's still hot unwrapping the paper along .
- Leave it cool for 15 mins .
- ...............
- Mix the cream cheese , icing sugar and syrup .
- Carefully unroll the cake and spread some cheese mixture inside .
- Roll back the cake and frost outside with the remaining mixture .
- Sprinkle the rasps and chill until served .
