How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Put warm water in small bowl and reconstitute shitake mushrooms per package directions, slice into small pieces that look the right size on your English muffin.
  • Remove Italian sausage from casings, break up and thoroughly cook until browned in cast iron skillet
  • Stack and quarter pepperoni slices
  • Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil
  • Place 8 English muffin halves on the cookie sheet, sliced side up
  • Liberally spoon marinara sauce on the muffins
  • Top with cooked Italian sausage, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and anchovies.
  • Bake in oven for 20 minutes
  • Broil until cheese starts to brown slightly
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with crushed red pepper, and serve hot.

    Hi,
    I'm always ready for pizza. I used to make pizza out of english muffins when my kids were young and they got to make their own pizza; they loved it. Thanks for the memories,
