These are quick and easy, very tasty too.

Ingredients
  • For the crust:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • Mix together ingredients. Pat mixture into a 9x13 pan. Bake 10 minutes @
  • 400.
  • For the filling:
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 T flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts, opt
  • 1/2 cup coconut, opt
  • Mix together dry ingredients & set aside. Mix wet ingredients together.
  • Add to dry mixture & stir thoroughly. Pour mixture over baked crust &
  • bake 25 minutes @ 325. Cool & cut in squares.
