Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix the all the ingredients. It will be a stiff but not a sticky dough.
  • Roll the dough to 1/4 inch and score or cut into desired shape and sizes.
  • Preheat oven to 350*F then bake for 12 - 15 minutes (Depending on thickness).
  • Turn the oven off and cool for an hour in the warm oven.
  • Remove from the oven and break apart.
  • Preheat to 225*F and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Turn the oven off once again and allow to cool for another hour in the warm oven.

    if you roll them thinner and do away with the extended dehydration method they do make great human crackers too. I believe pet treats should be made with love not bought from the bottom shelf in the pet section at the super market.

    must be 'People' Crackers, too !!

    This seems totally possible to me to be a
    recipe for humans, particularly if you
    have 'coarse-ground' Wheat & Rye~
