Japanese Pork Cutlets With Sauce

- 6 boneless pork cutlets shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour for dredging shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- panko breading mix shopping list
- peanut oil for deep frying shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 cup catsup shopping list
- 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup sake shopping list
- 2 tablespoons ginger shopping list
- 2 tablespoons garlic shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup rice wine shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil to 350 degrees
- In medium size bowl mix eggs and water.
- Put flour mix with salt and pepper into shallow bowl.
- Put panko into a shallow bowl.
- Salt and pepper pork then dredge pork in flour mix then egg wash then press into panko.
- When all pieces are done fry off in batches until golden brown then drizzle with sauce.
- Place all sauce ingredients in saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat.
- Stir occasionally then reduce simmer for 30 minutes and skim off any foam on top.
