How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Combine 2 cups of sifted flour, baking powder, and salt to batter.
  • Mix remaining flour with cranberries and nuts and fold into batter.
  • Pour into a greased fluted pan, and give the pan a little shake so the batter distributes evenly.
  • Bake at 350 for 65-70 min or until cake tests done.
  • Let rest for 10 min before turning it upside down on a plate and dust with powdered sugar.
