Garlic Baked Chicken

- 4 Boneless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 c bread Crumbs shopping list
- Pinch of basil shopping list
- Pinch of black pepper shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 1/4 c cooking oil shopping list
- 5-6 cloves of garlic, crushed or pressed shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F /190 degrees C
- Tenderize the chicken breasts with a meat tenderizer or the blunt side of a butcher knife/meat cleaver.
- Soak chicken breasts in egg.
- Crush garlic cloves in heated frying pan with cooking oil, or press them over heated oil (do not throw the garlic away yet)
- Mix bread crumbs and spices in a shallow bowl that will facilitate dipping chicken breasts.
- Dip soaked chicken breasts in crumbs on both sides, then place on a baking sheet or an oven rack covered in aluminum/tin foil.
- Pour the garlic/oil on the chicken breasts, placing garlic cloves on the chicken breasts, and pouring any remaining oil in the baking sheet.
- Bake about 25-30 minute or until crumbs are brown and juice runs clear. If you are not sure, use a knife to cut into the middle of the thickest breast.
