Ingredients
  • 1- ( 14 ounce) can condensed milk like eagle brand ( NOT evaporated milk)
  • 1 1/4 - cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 - cup water
  • 1- tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2- teaspoon salt
  • 1- cup cornstarch, sifted
  • 1- pound vanilla- flavored coating ............such as candy bark or almond bark.............
  • 2- cups peanuts , finely chopped

Directions
  1. In a heavy saucepan , combine condensed milk, peanut butter, water vanilla, and salt
  2. stir in corntarch
  3. over medium heat cook and stir until thickened and smooth
  4. add candy coating ...cook and stir until melted and smooth
  5. spread evenly in a wax- paper- lined 9 inch square baking pan
  6. chill 2 hours or until firm
  7. cut into squares roll firmly into crushed peanuts to coat
  8. store in refrigerator or at room temp..........
  9. makes about 3 pounds ................
