Snickerdoodles

- 2 3/4 cups flour ; sifted shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 cup butter ; softened shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Sift flour, salt and baking powder together, set aside.
- Cream butter, add 1 1/2 cups sugar gradually and cream until fluffy.
- Add beaten eggs and mix.
- Gradually add sifted dry ingredients and mix.
- Chill in refrigerator.
- Mold dough into small balls, using about 1 tablespoon of dough for each and roll in mixture of remaining sugar and cinnamon.
- Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 3 dozen cookies.

Guess what? I made snickerdoodles a few weeks ago and I didn't have enough cream of tartar......I did exactly as your recipe. I use more cinnamon & sugar to roll the cookies in tho'. Thank you!
