Ingredients

How to make it

  • In mixing bowl, beat butter at medium until creamy
  • Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth
  • Stir in espresso beans, Coffee liqueur, and salt
  • Shape with tsp. into balls and slightly flatten
  • Chill until firm
  • Melt chocolate chips and shortening in saucepan over very low heat, stirring until smooth
  • In 48 1 1/2 inch paper candy cups, add 1/2 tsp. melted chocolate (If possible, place cups in mini muffin tins)
  • Coat bottom totally with chocolate
  • Put espresso ball in each cup
  • Spoon chocolate over ball, covering completely
  • Chill until firm
