Southern Pecan Pie

SOUTHERN PECAN PIE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dimmer Estate in Rockwall, Texas in 1994.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter melted shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 3 eggs well beaten shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 unbaked pie shell shopping list
How to make it
- Mix sugar and syrup with melted butter then add beaten eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in chopped pecans then mix well and pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 375 for 15 minutes then lower temperature to 350 and bake 30 minutes longer.
