Festive Berry Skewers With Lemon Creme Recipe

Ingredients

Fresh Strawberries

Fresh Pineapple, cut in triangle chunks (must be fresh, not canned!)

Fresh Blackberries

Fresh Star Fruit, sliced thin for garnish (if you can't find/get star fruit, make butter cookies instead and use a star cookie cutter!)

bamboo skewers

16 oz Crème fraîche

16 oz quality brand cream cheese

sugar to taste

zest of 2 lemons

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

Skewer fruit in order as in photo.

For dip: Place all ingrediants in a mixing bowl and whip using mixer until fluffy (if it is too thick, you may add cream or milk to loosen it)

To serve: Place star fruit garnish (or cookies) on the edge of a large platter. Place dip in bowl in the center and arrange the fruit skewers around in a circle. Garnish dip with additional star fruit or cookie. Dip away!
