Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drzzle 5 quart dutch oven with EVOO (Or large skillet if using slow cooker)
  • Add meat, veggies, and seasonings
  • Cook until meat is lightly browned and veggies are soft, about 15 minutes (transfer to slow cooker if using)
  • Add beans, tomatoes and tomato paste
  • Bring to boil and simmer on low, covered for 2 hours
  • Remove lid and simmer uncovered to thicken if needed
  • Thickness can be adjusted with beef stock or water if needed
