This sounds kind of a strange combination but it really taste good!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lbs sausage
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (finely diced)
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 tbs. Honey
  • Juice of one lemon

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Form into 3/4 inch thick patties.
  3. In a cast iron skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until center is no longer pink.
