Garlic Shrimp Recipe
This shrimp dish is great with rice and steamed broccoli or asparagus and hot bread and a ceasar salad. All time favorite.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh (peeled and deveined) shrimp
  • 4 tbl. minced fresh garlic
  • Progresso garlic bread crumbs
  • 3/4 tbl. Cajun spice (Chef Paul Prudhommes blackened redfish season)
  • Butter 3/4 stick
  • 5 green onions chopped
  • s/p to taste

Directions
  1. 2-4 hrs. ahead of time
  2. Rinse shrimp
  3. Use a ziploc bag and add garlic,seasoning and shrimp
  4. Put in frig. and marinate at least 2-4 hrs.
  5. Remove from frig.
  6. Roll each shrimp in bread crumbs, salt and pepper to taste , set aside
  7. Add the garlic to the butter and heat pan till light bubble, (not too hot or will burn)
  8. Lay the shrimp flat on one side in pan.
  9. Cook till start to curl , then turn over.
  10. Sprinkle onions on just before shrimp are done
  11. Shrimp should be a golden brown.
  12. Remove from heat and pour remaining butter and garlic from pan over shrimp.
  13. Serve immediately.
  14. Delicious!!!!
