Ingredients
  • 10 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup sweet onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • hot pepper sauce to taste
  • fresh parsley, minced or chopped walnuts for garnish

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients except parsley or walnuts.
  2. Cover and chill 2 hours.
  3. Shape into ball shape.
  4. Roll in parsley or nuts before serving.
  5. Serve with crackers.

I think browning the onion would make it even sweeter, I like this take on the cheeseball. My Jewish girlfriend thinks all cheese in ball form is white, I just emailed this to her.
