How to make it

  • Line a deep baking tray with baking parchment
  • Put sugar, water, golden syrup, butter and glucose liquid into a pan and bring to the boil
  • When boiling, add the baking powder and shake the pan rigorously. The mixture will puff up
  • Immediately pour the mixture into the lined baking tray and allow to cool
  • To serve, break the honeycomb into chunks and dip into melted chocolate Yummy!!

    This does sound yummy, rather like the candy with peanut brittle, but without the peanuts (of which I am not fond...). I will have to make this with my Christmas candies.
