How to make it

  • In large bowl,beat sugars,eggs,oil applesauce and vanilla till well blended. Combine the flours,baking powder,salt,cinnamon,allspice and baking soda;gradually beat into sugar mixture until blended. Stir in carrots and walnuts.
  • Poue into 13x9' baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 for 40-45 mins or till a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack.
  • For Frosting:,in a small bowl,beat cream cheese with milk and vanilla till fluffy. Add confectioners sugar and salt;beat till smooth. Spread over top of cake. Store in refrigerator.
  • 223 calories per slice,8g fat(1g saturated fat),30 mg. cholesterol
