Very Easy French Bread

- 2 packages yeast shopping list
- 2 1/4 cup water 90-100 degrees shopping list
- 6 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tsp salt shopping list
- ice cubes, just a handful shopping list
How to make it
- In a food processor, add yeast, 1/4 cup water, whirl to combine
- Add flour and salt, process
- Add water slowly to form a ball
- Remove and knead on floured surface for a few minutes
- Place in a bowl and allow to rise until doubled, about an hour
- Divide in half, and form two loaves
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes
- **The secret to a nice crusty exterior is to throw a handful of ice on the bottom of the hot oven when you first put the bread in. This creates steam which develops the crust we all love on french bread.
