How to make it

  • In a shallow bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Dip both sides of bread into the egg mixture. Let soak for 5 min.
  • Place in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning, uncover and drizzle with the melted butter.
  • Bake at 325 for 35 to 40 minutes, or until browned.
  • Serve with your favorite syrup.

    Sounds yummy!
    My wife will be going to bed in a few minutes. As soon as she does I'll whip up a batch. In the morning she'll wake up to the aroma. Ha.
