- 1 3/4 cups apple pie filling shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour shopping list
- 1 package (3 ounces) heat-and-serve vanilla pudding mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- Topping shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350*F.Line 16 muffin cups with paper liners.Place the pie filling in a small bowl.Cut any large apple pieces into 1/2-inch chunks.
- For the muffins,Combine the all-purpose and whole wheat flours,the pudding mix,brown sugar,baking powder,cinnamon and salt in large bowl.Mix well.
- Combine 1 1/4 cups apple filling,the milk,oil and egg whites in another large bowl.Mix well.Add the flour mixture to the fruit mixture.Stir until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups.For the topping,Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.Spoon the remaining apple filling over the batter in the muffin cups.Sprinkle evenly with the sugar mixture.
- Bake until the muffins are golden brown,about 25 minutes.cool in the muffin cups on wire racks for 10 minutes.Serve warm.
