This sweet citrus flavored fish has a warm kick to this dish. A favorite of my hubbys.

Ingredients
  • 4 (6oz) flounder fillets (thawed if frozen)
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tsp grated fresh gingerroot
  • 1/4 tsp pepper sauce
  • 2 naval oranges, sectioned
  • Orange Sections and chives (optional)

Directions
  1. Preheat broiler. Coat broiler rack with non-stick cooking spray. Place fillets on rack. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with seasoned salt. Broil 4 inches from heat until fish flakes with a fork, about 8 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan combine marmalade, orange juice, ginger, and hot pepper sauce. Heat and stir. Serve over flounder. Garnish with orange sections and chives, if desired.
  3. Note******Flounder, with it's firm, white, finely textured flesh, may be cooked many ways. The tangy orange sauce gives zest to this mild-flavored fish.

This is definitely a keeper I love the sauce with the ginger perhaps some chopped mango would be nice.
Five forks and a smile :)

Love the citrus in this - am a big fan of sweet sauces used over fish...this sounds very flavorful. Thank you!

Sounds like a winner! Thanks! 5555
