A new twist on appetizer meatballs.

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup dry seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or stock
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar

Directions
  1. In large bowl, combine eggs, soup mix, breadcrumbs, cranberries and parsley. Add beef and mix.
  2. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Arrange on greased rimmed baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until browned.
  4. In saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, ketchip, broth or stock, brown sugar, onion and vinegar.
  5. Cook over medium heat until bubbly and smooth,
  6. Add meatballs to saucepan,
  7. Heat through.
