Here is a quick coffee cake recipe to put together in a flash.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 T. baking powder
  • Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter melted

Directions
  1. In mixing bowl mix: sugar, flour, salt, baking powder.
  2. Stir,
  3. In 1 cup measuring cup place egg and fill the rest of the way with milk.
  4. Add to dry ingredients.
  5. Stir.
  6. Spread in a greased 9 x 13 pan.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
  8. Bake 350 degrees for 25 min.
  9. Pour melted butter on top.
