Ingredients

How to make it

  • Melt 1/4 c butter in a medium saucepan over med-low heat
  • Add cornsyrup, brown sugar, and 2 1/2 T cocoa
  • Bring to boil, stiffing constantly
  • Boil for 1 minute
  • Remove from heat
  • Pour into greased 9 inch cake pan
  • Sprinkle with pecans and set aside
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into a 10x14 inch rectangle
  • Brush with the 1 T melted butter
  • In a small bowl, combine sugar, remianing cocoa, and cinnamon
  • Sprinkle over melted butter
  • Roll up, jelly roll fashion, starting at long edge
  • Cut into 1-inch thick slices
  • Arrange slices over chocoalte sauce in pan
  • Cover and let rise 45 minutes in warm place, or until doubled in size
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Remove from oven and immediately invert onto serving platter
