How to make it

  • Brown onions in fat
  • Add Green Pepper and let brown
  • add chicken, salt and pepper, and parsley & let brown
  • add 1/2 cup water and simmer
  • Keep adding water until kitchen is half done
  • Now add flour and paprika and blend thoroughly
  • Dumplings: Beat 2 egg-whites
  • add yolks and beat again
  • Add 2 T. of water and beat a little
  • add 1cup flour
  • add a pinch of salt and mix well
  • Drop into boiling, salted water by teaspoon-fulls, stirring occasionally so dumplings won't stick
  • when tender, drain and add to paprikas
