  • 1 lb. sweet italian ham like a good cappa paper thin

Directions
  1. split both loaves and remoev a bit of the bread
  2. start with a layer of cheese then add meats a layer at a time then a layer of veggies
  3. repeat this until sandwiches look like you want to eat them
  4. wrap both loaves in plastic wrap then aluminum foil place on a baking sheet and press them down add a second baking sheet
  5. weigh it down and place in fridge for at least for hours overnight is better
  6. to serve unwrap slice into pieces serve on a platter with a couple of dressings some like this with itallian dressing I prefer just a simple balsamic vinegerette

Love the meats in this and i love pressed sandwiches! There's something so special about them! The flavors mix a lot nicer that way too.

Great for the upcoming Superbowl! Thanks for sharing.

I love a "compacted" sandwich....the flavors seem to pop when all squished together like that - this would definitely be perfect for tailgates...hope we can try it this coming fall! Go Illini...

Another great sandwich thanks high5
