Hi, Bobby...Gagagrits clued me in to your post. Needless to say, I LOVE it! I'm still in the 'Burg and ya gotta love a Primanti's sandwich. In fact, I'm heading down to the Strip in a few to pick up some Steelers items for next Sunday. GO STEELERS!!!!!! You have heard us referred to as "Six-burgh?" Again....GO STEELERS!

Bobby, you knew I had to be the first to rate this. These are wonderful. Primanti Bros. in the strip was always open 24 hours. We would hit this place about 2am, after a nite of partying. The wait staff never wrote anything down and could take a table of 6 on without a mistake, when they would shout out your order to the chef, it was a language all of their own. They had so many combos, but always the fresh cut fries and slaw, on Mancini's bread sliced about 1 1/2 inches thick. I loves the pastrami and egg one. Thanks Bobby for the great post. and for bringing back some good memories....:)

Good Lord, how am I going to get that into my mouth?!? THAT is one 'jumbo' sandwich, but it sure sounds good. Are females allowed to eat it with a knife and fork, for daintiness' sake (probably not, as this is no dainty sandwich!)? This will take some mastery, but I'm willing to work on it - we are sandwich lovers around here. Keep these unique sandwich ideas coming!
