Easy Rasberry Cream Torte Recipe
A very easy, elegant and delicious dessert- One can use other fresh or seasonal fruit too

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf of store bought pound cake 8 or 9 inch loaf about 10.75 oz
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries ( or other fresh seasonal berries or fruits )
  • Additional raspberries

Directions
  1. Whip 1 cup of cream with the sugar, vanilla and fold in 1/2 cup raspberries
  2. Cut cake in half horizontally,
  3. Scoop out some of the center leaving a 1/2 inch rim
  4. Spread a thin layer of the remaining whiped cream on the cut side bottom half.
  5. Fill center with raspberry cream mixture
  6. Replace top.
  7. Frost with remaining whipped cream.
  8. Garnish with additional berries
