How to make it

  • In a plastic bag, combine salt and paprika. Shake chicken until evenly coated. In a large skillet, brown chicken in melted butter. Remove chicken and place in an ovenproof casserole. In the drippings, saute onion until soft. Blend in flour and paprika to form a paste. Add coffee and tomato paste and stir until blended. Add sherry and sour cream. Pour sauce over chicken. Cover tightly and bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serve with good egg noodles (homemade preferred).
