Ingredients
  • 1 pk three grain tempeh, crumbled
  • Half medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 c ketchup
  • 1/3 c vegan bbq sauce (honey free)
  • 4 tsp taco seasoning
  • Splash apple cider vinegar
  • Tobasco sauce to taste
  • Taco seasoning:
  • 12 tbsp chili powder
  • 6 tbsp cumin
  • 6 tbsp paprika
  • 4½ tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp garlic powder
  • 3 tsp cinnamon

Directions
  1. Sautee onion and tempeh until onion is translucent and tempeh is starting to brown.
  2. Make sure the pot is hot, and squirt ketchup and bbq sauce in. Mix well.
  3. Throw in a splash of apple cider vinegar, as much tobasco as you like, and the taco seasoning. Of course, adjust to taste.
  4. When it's all mixed and warmed through, spoon into buns. I ate mine with yellow mustard and smoked provelone flavored soy cheese. It was yummy.
