- 1/4 lb liver shopping list
- 1 lb steel-cut oats shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1/2 tsp white pepper shopping list
- 1/2 lb minced suet shopping list
- 1 onion finely chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Parboil liver until cooked through. Chill and mince
- Mix other ingredients, add water to make a stiff paste
- Tie ingredients into a pudding cloth or in a thoroughly cleaned sheep’s paunch 3/4 full.
- Put it in boiling water. Boil for 3 hours. Prick the paunch so often to release pressure so that it does not make a mess of your kitchen.
- Serve Hot
