Nacho Cheese Bites Recipe

These bite size appetizers fit into casual settings. Great for the big game. Serve with extra salsa for dipping

Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1Tbs water
- 1c shredded cheese
- 1/4c salsa
- 5 pitted ripe olives,quartered
- chili powder
Directions
- Thaw pastry at room temperature for 40 mins or till easy to handle. Heat oven to 400. Beat egg and water in small bowl with a fork. Stir the cheese and salsa in a small bowl.
- Unfold pastry sheet on lightly floured surface. Roll the pastry sheet into a 15x12" rectangle. Cut into 20 squares(3"). Place about 1 Tbs cheese mixture in center of each pastry square. Top each with olive piece,if desired. Brush the edges of the pastry squares with the egg mixture. Fold the pastry over filling to form triangles Crimp the edges with a fork to seal. Place filled pastries onto baking sheet. Brush pastries with egg mixture and sprinkle with chili powder.
- Bake 15 mins or till pastries are golden. Serve warm or at room temperature.
