How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F, line cookie sheets with parchment or SilPat (do not grease).
  • Whisk together flours, protein powder and baking soda, set aside.
  • Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugar.
  • Beat in honey, vanilla and egg.
  • Mix in dry ingredients until just moistened.
  • Fold in M&Ms.
  • Shape into balls, place on prepared sheets and flatten with a fork.
  • Bake 10 minutes, cool completely on sheets.
