Brown Sugar Brownies

Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Cut into 2 1/2" squares when cool.
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted shopping list
- 2 cups light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla, extract shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9"x13" baking pan.
- Set aside.
- In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Thoroughly combine with the butter-sugar mixture.
- Fold in the nuts.
- Spread the mixture in the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
- Cut into 2 1/2" squares when cool.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Makes 20 brownies.
