Country Style Ribs And Saurkraut In The Crock Pot Recipe
COUNTRY STYLE RIBS AND SAUERKRAUT IN THE CROCK POT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Pryor Estate in Grapevine, Texas in 1996.

Ingredients
  • 1 bag sauerkraut rinsed and drained
  • 1 large white onion
  • 1 red skinned apple
  • 3 pounds country style pork ribs
  • 1 cup beer

Directions
  1. Put sauerkraut in bottom of crock pot then add diced onion and chopped apple.
  2. Stir well to combine then layer country ribs on top of kraut mixture and pour beer over all.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
