Sweet Wings

- For the marinade: shopping list
- 1 cup pineapple juice shopping list
- 1 cup Mr. Yoshida sauce ( or teryaki sauce ) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- For the glaze: shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade shopping list
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice shopping list
- 3 TB lemon juice shopping list
- 2 TB sugar shopping list
- For the main ingredient: shopping list
- 3 to 4 lbs chicken wings shopping list
How to make it
- For the glaze, place the Marmalade, 1/2 cup Pineapple juice, 3 TB lemon juice and 2 TB sugar in a small saucepan.
- Heat the glaze over low heat until it reaches a slow boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, remove from heat and set aside.
- For the wing marinade:
- Mix the pineapple juice, Yoshida sauce and garlic together.
- Arrange the chicken wings in a pyrex dish, and pour the marinade over them.
- Place in a 300 degree oven for 60 minutes, turning once.
- When cooked through, remove the wings from the sauce, and transfer to a second baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 15 minutes - this helps remove the fat from the wings.
- Glaze with the Marmalade mixture, and bake for another 15 minutes, until the wings glaze.
- Serve with Jalepeno mayonaisse or Louisana Hot Sauce
