Creamy Potato Soup

- 2 Large baking potatoes (peeled and cubed) shopping list
- 1 white onion (chopped) shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic (chopped) shopping list
- 2 8 ounce cans chicken stock shopping list
- 1 cup bacon crumbles (can buy a package in the salad aisle of the grocery store, or cook and crumble your own. I'm lazy, so I buy it! lol) shopping list
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 cup half & half shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons flour shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon butter or margarine shopping list
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
How to make it
- Put cubed potatoes in a medium sized pot and pour chicken stock over potatoes to cover and boil until tender
- In the meantime, melt butter in slightly larger pot, add onions and garlic and cook over low- medium heat until tender.
- Mix blour with the onions, pour chicken stock from potatoes into the onion pot.
- Stir half&half, pepper, and salt into the chicken stock.
- Add potatoes into the chicken stock pot.
- Stir in 1/2 cup bacon and 1 cup cheddar cheese.
- Stir over low-medium heat until cheese melts and soup begins to thicken.
- Use remaining cheese and bacon to sprinkle over soup when serving.

This sounds terrific to me I love potatoes every which way especially creamy soup like this one.
