Ingredients

How to make it

  • Line cookie sheet with parchment paper (believe me this is a must unless you like to clean up sticky pans)
  • Line cookies sheet with one layer of graham crackers
  • Put butter and sugar into pan and boil
  • mix in nuts
  • Pour butter/nut mixture evenly over graham crackers
  • Put in the oven, back at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes, until mixture is bubbling on top
  • Remove and let cool
  • Serve

    Wow, I love your photo Keni, beautiful! And I love the idea of salt flakes on them, great combination! Let me know how it turns out with honey, wouldn't mind trying that myself. I'm so glad you and your family enjoyed them. :)

    These are super easy and delicious... I've seen, and tasted, the "saltine toffee" recipes, and just didn't like them...these, however, even I enjoyed. The kids devoured them. :) If you cover the crackers completely, it really looks like a high class candy, too, and would be a great addition to a holiday tray. I'm going to try them with honey, instead of brown sugar. The only thing I did, which we LOVED, was that I sprinkled some salt flakes over them just out of the oven. The hint of salty with the sweet toffee was perfect. Thanks for a great and quick Sunday treat recipe! I added my pic.
