Ingredients
- 4oz cream cheese
- 1/4c 2% milk
- 1/2 c Sauvignon blanc white wine
- 1 plum tomato - chopped
- 3 cloves fresh garlic chopped
- 1 green onion - sliced
- 1tb fresh basil-chopped
- 1tb capers
- 5oz sliced mushrooms
- 1 jalapeno pepper- sliced
- 1/2 small green pepper -sliced
- 1 small broccoli crown - cut into florets
- 4 slices bacon- crumbled
- 1 tb bacon grease
- 2 hard boiled eggs-chopped
- 6oz farfelle (bowtie) pasta
- 1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
- 1tb olive oil
Directions
- Sauce base: in a medium saucepan over low heat combine cream cheese, milk, wine , tomato and 2 cloves chopped garlic.
- simmer 20 mins
- veggies: heat olive oil
- saute' reamining garlic,basil,green onions,mushrooms,capers, green and jalapeno peppers about 5-7 mins
- add splash of wine and broccoli florets let cook additinal 5 mins over low heat
- combine veggies with sauce mixture and simmer 20 mins
- fry up 4 slices bacon,drain, crumble and add to sauce + bacon grease and hard boiled eggs mix.
- cook farfelle per package directions, drain
- place pasta on plate top with sauce then top with cheddar cheese
