Grandma Joys Pumpkin Dessert Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 9” x 13” Pan sprayed with Pam or very lightly oiled
  • Combine the first eight ingredients; beat on medium with electric mixer.
  • Pour mixture into pan, sprinkle dry yellow cake mix over mixture.
  • Pour melted butter evenly over cake mix.
  • Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the mixture.
  • Take a spatula and lightly push nuts and cake mix down into the top of the pumpkin mixture. It helps cook the dry cake mixture if bottom half is moisten.
  • Bake 350 degrees for 80 minutes.
  • May be severed with Cool Whip or Ice Cream
