Grandma Joys Pumpkin Dessert Recipe
This came from my Grandmother she always made this for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Ingredients
  • 1 can (29oz) solid pack Pumpkin
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1½ cups Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon Cloves
  • 2 cans Evaporated Milk
  • 1 boxed Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup chopped Walnuts
  • 1 cube of melted Butter or Margarine

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. 9” x 13” Pan sprayed with Pam or very lightly oiled
  3. Combine the first eight ingredients; beat on medium with electric mixer.
  4. Pour mixture into pan, sprinkle dry yellow cake mix over mixture.
  5. Pour melted butter evenly over cake mix.
  6. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the mixture.
  7. Take a spatula and lightly push nuts and cake mix down into the top of the pumpkin mixture. It helps cook the dry cake mixture if bottom half is moisten.
  8. Bake 350 degrees for 80 minutes.
  9. May be severed with Cool Whip or Ice Cream
