Barbecue Sauce for ANYTHING

- 1 onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 4 cloves of garlic, finely minced shopping list
- 2 cups of ketchup shopping list
- 1 cup of water shopping list
- 1/2 cup of cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup of canola oil shopping list
- 1/4cup of worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1/3 cup, packed, dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of honey shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of ground cumin shopping list
- 2 dashes of Frank's hot sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all of the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
- Pour sauce through a straine to remove the onion and garlic.
- Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
- Let cool to room temperature.
- Use immediately, or place into a container and refrigerate for up to a week.
