Barbecue Sauce For Anything Recipe

	Jaie / All my dishes 2 years, 5 months ago Everyone has their favorite, but this is super easy BBQ sauce; brush it on ribs,chicken, burgers or steak. Marinate shrimp for griling or stir some into a pot of baked beans! Prep:15m Cook:15m Servings:3	Jaie

Ingredients

1 onion, finely chopped

4 cloves of garlic, finely minced

2 cups of ketchup

1 cup of water

1/2 cup of cider vinegar

1/4 cup of canola oil

1/4cup of worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1/3 cup, packed, dark brown sugar

1 tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon of chili powder

1 tablespoon of ground cumin

2 dashes of Frank's hot sauce

Directions

Combine all of the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 10-15 minutes.

Pour sauce through a straine to remove the onion and garlic.

Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.

Let cool to room temperature.

Use immediately, or place into a container and refrigerate for up to a week.
