How to make it

  • In a stock pot brown Steak and chop garlic and
  • scallions in olive oil. Deglaze the pan with
  • bottle of porter then and water and beef
  • boillion. Cut potatoes and carrots into bitesized
  • pieces and add to stock pot add Oregano and salt
  • and pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes and
  • seperate beef and vegis from sauce. Set sauce
  • aside. In a medium sauce pan melt butter and add
  • flour to create a rouxe. Add sauce and thicken to
  • gravy consitency. Split Pie crust into 2 portion
  • and blind bake Bottom crust in a 180 Celcius oven
  • for 15 minutes. Add Beef and vegtables to pie
  • then pour in Porter gravy. Top with crust and
  • bake till top crust is browned.
