How to make it

  • Place all ingredients into a crockpot.
  • Set crockpot on high heat.
  • Cook for 5 hours on high heat and then 5 additional hours on low heat.
  • Serve with biscuits or cornbread.

    As far as I'm concerned, fish? It wouldn't bother me in the least if those ugly looking disgusting animals were wiped out entirely. My hubby ate possum stew at his granddaddy's farm and loved it! I never laid eyes on one until about 5 years ago... yuck! I agree, the pork version is good sounding. Enjoy! Thanks, fish...

    Sorr, but although popular in the south, the possums around here are too scrawny, and I just can't get past how much they look like an oversize rat. But the pork version sounds great!!

    There is Road Kill cafe in South Carolina in Swansea, the motto is,"From the black top to the table top." But this is a really cute, but good recipe thanks....:)

    Sounds good but I think I'll go with the pork roast. Even in the South it's getting mighty hard to find fresh road kill. Thanks.

    Too cute! We need to open a cafe named "Road Kill Cafe" And serve this one. Would ne the hit of the town. Follow it up with my witches fingers for dessert.
