Dutch Baby Pancake Recipe
Found this in a magazine...tried it this morning and loved it. Thought I would share with everyone.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted flour, room temperature
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425. In a medium cast iron or non stick skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat.
  2. In a blender, combine eggs, milk, flour, salt, vanilla, and sugar. Blend until foamy for about a minute. Pour batter into skillet.
  3. Bake until pancake is puffed and lightly brownded, about 20 minutes.

Alterations


Not so much an alteration as much as a suggestion. I served it with a dusting of confectionary sugar. The magazine article suggested dabing with butter and drizzling lemon juice.
