Mushroom Pate

- 3 Tbs peanut or olive oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 lb white mushrooms, finely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1 hard boiled egg shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Saute the onions and mushrooms in the oil until tender and soft; about 10 minutes
- Stir in the finely chopped cooked egg.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Use as a sandwhich spread or a pate.
- Serve warm or chilled

What a great idea. Love the idea of meatless pate and I adore the flavor of mushrooms. Might add some of my grandma's dried (reconstituted) Polish imports. They are super flavorfull. Thanks for the post.
