Palak Paneer

- 500g Fresh Palak / spinach shopping list
- 100g Paneer / cottage cheese - cubed shopping list
- 2 onions grated shopping list
- 1 tomato diced shopping list
- 1 tsp Green chilli paste shopping list
- 1 tsp ginger - garlic paste shopping list
- 1 tsp pure ghee shopping list
- Few tbsp Thick Cream shopping list
- Pinch of Tumeric pwd shopping list
- 1 tsp cornflour shopping list
- Red chilli powder to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp cumin powder shopping list
- salt To Taste shopping list
How to make it
- Wash the spinach and boil in water until cooked .
- Let it cool .
- In a mixer , mash it .
- Fry the Cottage cheese along with chilli pwd until golden brown and set aside .
- Heat ghee in a kadai . Add , green chilli , ginger-garlic paste and stir-fry for a minute.
- Now add onions and fry till golden brown.
- Add the tomato and cook until pulpy .
- Add all the other spices .
- Add the spinach simmer for 5 mins.
- Add paneer pieces to the gravy and simmer for another 3 mins . Sprinkle some water if necessary .
- Add the cornflour .
- Check the salt .
- Add the cream and simmer for another 2 mins .
- Serve HOT ...
