Cabbage Rolls aka Pigs in a blanket

- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 lb kielbasa, casing removed and ground (can use a food processor) shopping list
- 1 lb coarse ring bologna, casing removed and ground shopping list
- 1 head of cabbage shopping list
- 1 T oregano shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 stalk celery, celery shopping list
- 1 -15 oz can tomato sauce, Italian seasoned shopping list
- 1 c catsup shopping list
- 1/2 c water shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Mix the beef, kielbasa. bologna, onion, celery, garlic, and oregano together
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat a large pot of boiling water
- Blanch individual cabbage leaves until pliable
- Place in a bowl of cold water
- Using 1 or 2 leaves, place about 1/2 c of the meat mixture, fold in the sides and roll.
- Place seam down in a roasting pan
- Repeat - should make 16-20 rolls
- Mix the tomato sauce, catsup, and water together.
- Pour over the rolls and bake for 1 hour
