Restaurant-Style Coleslaw

- 1 carrot; shredded shopping list
- 1 medium head of cabbage; shredded shopping list
- dressing: shopping list
- 1 teaspoon onion powder shopping list
- 3 tablespoons white sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/4 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- In a screw-top jar, shake together the dressing ingredients.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded carrot and cabbage.
- Pour dressing over carrot and cabbage mixture, using only as much as you need until you reach the right consistency.
- Chill the coleslaw for 1 hour and refrigerate the remaining dressing for future use.
- Note: You can also use a 16-oz package of coleslaw mix instead of shredded carrot and cabbage.
